want to get your learner, restricted or full licence?

we're working with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to help our young people get their licence and learn to drive safely.

learn to drive

Getting your licence is exciting. It gives you independence and makes it easier to:

  • get to course or work on your own
  • drive your tamariki around
  • help your whānau or friends with the shopping
  • go places.

Passing your licence test is something to be proud of. It means you have an important skill that will give you options for where you live, study and work - and it can improve life for you and your whānau.

how does 'learn to drive' work?

When you sign up for 'Learn to drive', we make sure you have everything you need to get your licence and be a good and safe driver.

We'll give you a professional driving instructor so you learn good driving skills and habits - and your youth coach will back you the whole way by helping you study and making sure you're prepared for each test.
